New Rescue Pilot put through Paces

RACQ NQ Rescue responds to truck MVA East of Gregory Down

A crew from Perth-based helicopter company Heliwest has been involved in a challenging rescue in the Pilbara.

IF you were blown away by the sound of helicopter rotors thundering over the city last weekend, there's a pretty good chance North Queensland Rescue pilot Andy Carrodus was the man behind the controls.

Today at approximately 12 pm the RACQ NQ Rescue Helicopter, operated by Heliwest, responded to a high speed truck roll over 30 Km East of Gregory Downs.
