We fly our Scenic fights Saturday and Sunday between 10am and 4pm from Jandakot Airport. Four flights run from Jandakot, and these flights run according to when they are booked by the customer. Camera's can be brought aboard and there are no clothing guidelines. Passengers will need to arrive 10-15 minutes before the flight is due to leave for a safety briefing. Flights can be paid for on the day (preferable), or over the phone.

 

There are four different flights which range in cost, path and time spent in the air.

 

> Hot Lap

$75 per person

Experience the thrill of flying around Australia’s busiest airport. Quiz the pilots on their aviation knowledge. Flying time approx 5 minutes.

 

> Fremantle Flyer

$180 per person
Travel Perth’s southern suburbs to the historic Fremantle Port, then follow the southern coastline before looping back to Jandakot. Flying time approx 15minutes.

 

> Scenic Beaches

$300 per person

Enjoy an exhilarating flight over the historic port city of Fremantle then fly alongside Perth’s stunning beaches, past Cottesloe and onto City Beach. Take in aerial views of Perth city and Rottnest Island on the way. Flight time approx 30 minutes

 

> The Trifecta Trip

$450 per person

See Fremantle, Beaches and Perth in one trip. Experience the historic port city of Fremantle and then follow the Swan River to see unrivalled views of the beautiful Perth city skyline and amazing panoramas of Kings Park

> Trial Introductory Flight

Only $350 per person
Heliwest offers you an amazing opportunity to participate in a pre-flight briefing and a 35-minute flying lesson. This flight can count toward your license should you start training. As a no obligation flight it allows you to ascertain if you are comfortable with all aspects of training at Heliwest. It is also an opportunity to discuss your particular requirements with a senior instructor. Please note that all trial flights are conducted from our flying school located at Jandakot Airport.

 

> Helicopter Flight Simulator

Simulator experiences include a full briefing beforehand followed by a flight in the simulator. Clients can land the simulated helicopter on an oil rig, hovering or navigating to another airport. Jandakot airport only, participants must be wearing closed in shoes. No weight or age restrictions. Recommended for ages 14 and over. One on One experience.
Prices are as follows:

  • 30 minutes - $170/person

  • 45 minutes - $210/person

  • 60 minutes - $265/person

> 'Try Before you Fly'

This package includes a 30 minute ground briefing followed by 30 minutes in the helicopter flight simulator and 35 minutes in a helicopter with an instructor. It flies from Jandakot airport, participants must be wearing closed in shoes. Single passenger weight cannot exceed 136kgs. We recommend that participants are over the age of 14. $520/person
