Aerial Fire Suppression
Heliwest currently has a Bell 212 twin engine medium lift helicopter immediately available for fire support operations in Western Australia. The Bell 212 is renowned for being one of the most capable and cost effective solutions to fire support operations around the world.
Heliwest employs experienced fire bombing pilots – including a number of lead Helitack pilots. The Bell 212 is also able to transport up to 14 officers with their equipment, or sling up to 1.5 tonnes of equipment - all with the belly tank installed to retain the ability to switch to fire bombing when required.
