Power Line Inspections
Heliwest has long been the service provider to Western Power here in Western Australia. More recently we have worked for Horizon Power and ETSA as well as several mining companies on their powerline assets. To optimise safety Heliwest are the only company in WA that operate twin engine aircraft for power line operations.

While many companies can offer standard flights along a powerline, Heliwest has developed a tri-camera inspection system. This system utilises 3 separate cameras covering video, Infra-red and Corona spectrums. Mounted on a gyro-stabilized side mount and crewed by our own trained operators this system has revolutionized the pre-emptive inspection process.
