My journey in aviation began in my teenage years when I obtained my first pilot’s licence. Early operational experience came through aeroplane flight instruction, which continued to sharpen my skills while working toward a helicopter licence and completing a Degree in Aviation.
During this time, several years were also spent as a sensor operator crewman, supporting infrastructure survey and fire surveillance operations. Over the course of my career, I’ve held multiple Key Personnel positions within the company and broadened my operational exposure across multiengine IFR charter, aerial work, HEMS, and Remotely Piloted Aircraft.
More recently, the role of Operations Manager provided valuable leadership experience, and completing an MBA has supported the transition into my current position as General Manager.
Away from Heliwest, life revolves around the outdoors, family, and a love of good food and red wine. The Great Southern, where my family has its roots, remains a special place—particularly when it comes to time on the water and fishing.
